Paul is always our first choice when needing a handyman or carpenter. He has done several jobs for us over a number of years and we have always found him to be pleasant, capable and very reasonably priced. The latest job was the fitting of two curtain poles, one of which was a bendable pole into a tricky bay window, but as usual he was well up to the task and did a good job. Can't rate Paul highly enough and already considering him for another project!

We contacted Paul as we needed some shelves building for our under stairs cupboard and airing cupboard, along with an under sink shelf. Paul did a fantastic job! He listened to my requirements, sourced the materials and created a huge amount of storage for our new build property! He was friendly attentive and built shelves that are sturdy, well put together and really well built, highly recommend!

Paul is a highly skilled craftsman who completes work of the highest quality. He is thorough, focused and conscientious, providing a wholehearted and creative approach to his work his ability to solve problems and provide practical solutions to tricky tasks is impressive. He does not stop until a job is done properly. In addition he is trustworthy, a very nice person to have around. He makes little mess and always cleans up. He has done several jobs for me including fixing curtain poles into very solid, resistant, old walls, fixing an improperly installed bath and securing it onto a stable frame to prevent it moving and allowing leaks between it and the walls, making other bathroom adjustments, sealing various gaps, securing pipes, and making and fitting a new shed door and surrounding frame. I have been very pleased with all the work he has done and he is a genuine and sincere man who charges extremely reasonable fees for such great work. I have absolutely no hesitation highly recommending him. If you want the best job doing, call Paul - you'll be pleased you did.

I needed a carpenter for several jobs around the house. Having used Paul on a previous occasion I asked him to assess the work needed. He turned up on time and was very professional throughout his visit. I was very pleased with his quote and having previously seen his working standards I was happy to ask him to carry out the work. It was an excellent decision, he turned up on time, he caused no disruption throughout, and finished all the work asked for, to a high standard. Highly recommended.

Paul replaced every door in the house efficiently and with no fuss. Highly skilled man. He even added one or two improvements after discussing them with me as he went along. Paul was fantastic from start to finish. He was prompt and efficient when quoting and setting a date to do the work, which is something I've been let down on by others. We had some cupboards and shelving made for our landing. On installing he noticed he could make the look of the cupboards better from the original quote. This meant he would need to make another trip to fit the cupboard door which was not a issue to him when many others when have done what was quoted. He also trimmed some doors down due us having new carpets. His work was great and you can tell he takes pride in his work and the service he provides. I will definitely be using him again for any other work I need.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Paul. He's done three jobs for us - put up a shed, fixed a large garage door and hand built two bespoke alcove cabinets/shelves. A man of many talents! This last carpentry project is amazing. Skilfully designed, with period features that perfectly suit the room. Completely transparent with his prices, arrives when he says he will, and obviously takes pride in his work. Really impressed. Will be using him again.

Remembering his details from before, when my daughter lost her key to her new house, I sent him a message. He was there at 9am next morning. Did a good job, polite and quick. I contacted Paul with a list of jobs to do around my home. Communication was excellent and we had to change the date several times due to a delay in an online order for a blind this was sorted without any hassle. Paul worked tirelessly during a heatwave to finish the list of jobs some were tricky due to the substance of my walls however he overcame this in a professional manner. Broken door lock needed repair and or replacement. He rang back after my initial call on his answer machine, fixed a time, arrived at that time. Examined and explained the problem and the price. Had the replacement on the van, fitted and away with no problem. Would recommend him.

We needed a new lock put in that didn't have a key for inside, as my Mother in law is suffering from dementia and keeps hiding them, adamant they are being stolen. We were down to one key. In desperation I emailed a few locksmiths, but Paul emailed back straight away. He came out to measure the next day for a thumb lock and it was fitted the following morning. No mess, quickly fitted, reasonable cost and the lock is perfect. He was even polite and humoured her when listening to her tales. When we need the other door doing we will know where to go.

Paul did an excellent job creating and building bespoke shelving units for our children's bedrooms. These units were wall to wall and ceiling to floor and incorporated drawers, sliding doors cupboards, lift up chests and open shelves. We had designed the cabinets to our own specification and Paul was happy to create them to suit us and the space we had available. We also had several other joinery jobs for him to do, including altering an existing cabinet and kitchen island, fitting boxing, creating a fold down table and making a bi-fold door for an existing aperture.
